Meetings

Meetings 6:45 p.m.  to 9 p.m.

Third Thursday of the month, except December when we hold our Annual WorldWide Candle Lighting Ceremony.
Meetings are at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in
Rooms 128-129 on the lowest level of the building
facilities.

St. Paul’s United Methodist Church
620 Romeo Street
Rochester, Michigan 48308

Our meetings are open to all bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings.  Our meetings provide emotional support and a safe place for feelings to be expressed.
For some, it is the only place where they are able to comfortably talk about their child and their grief.

Everything discussed at the meetings is confidential and no one is required to speak.  Some people believe it’s harder to talk in front of strangers about something as
intimate as the loss of a child, but because everyone else at the meeting has had a similar experience, they understand much of what you are feeling.
Just listening to the experiences of others is often helpful in understanding confusing emotions and learning that there is no right or wrong way to make this journey.

We suggest you try at least three meetings before you decide whether we are “right for you.” Every meeting is quite different. If you feel your first meeting
didn’t meet your needs, please try us again as we are always working to address varied aspects of the process.

There are no fees for membership or to attend the meetings.

Birthday & Angel Day Table

Celebrate your child’s birthday or angel day at the chapter birthday/angel day table at meetings.
Bring his or her favorite food or dessert, paper products and utensils. Bring
photos, momentoes, scrapbooks. Tell us about your child in his or her
birthday month.

Please visit our Lending Library

Books and tapes are available on meeting nights. Take and return circulating
materials on the honor system. We welcome your tax deductible donations of
books and tapes.

NEW FAMILIES: Please turn in a chapter membership form to Ann Brown at mcdermottbrown@gmail.com
;
so we may mail you a newsletter
and/or have your child featured in the birthday and anniversary pages and
your child may be included in the PowerPoint presentation at the candle
lighting. If we have no completed form returned after six months, we will
assume that you do not wish to receive the newsletter or participate in TCF. If
you do not have a form, please call Linda May (586) 790‐0008.

Use of the facilities are donated by:
